Invitations
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Invitations feature is the primary way to add new members to your organization in LogCentral. Organization owners can invite users by email address and assign them specific roles, while users can view and respond to invitations they’ve received. This system helps you build and manage your team’s access to your organization’s logs and resources.
Understanding Invitation Roles
Section titled “Understanding Invitation Roles”When inviting users to your organization, you can assign one of four roles:
- Owner: Full control over the organization, including the ability to manage users and settings
- Member: Standard access to organization features and logs
- Reader: Read-only access to view logs and data without making changes
- Billing: Access to manage billing and subscription settings
Choose the role that matches the level of access each team member needs.
Invitation Statuses
Section titled “Invitation Statuses”Invitations move through different states as they’re processed:
- Pending: The invitation has been sent and is waiting for the user’s response
- Accepted: The user has joined your organization
- Rejected: The user declined the invitation
- Cancelled: You cancelled the invitation before it was accepted
- Expired: The invitation passed its time limit without being accepted
Managing Organization Invitations
Section titled “Managing Organization Invitations”Organization owners can manage invitations from the Users page within their organization settings. This is where you’ll send new invitations and track their status.

Responding to Invitations
Section titled “Responding to Invitations”When someone invites you to join their organization, you’ll receive an invitation that you can accept or reject. Managing your invitations helps you control which organizations you’re part of and what access you grant.
Viewing Your Invitations
Section titled “Viewing Your Invitations”Access your invitations page to see all pending invitations you’ve received. Each invitation displays:
- The organization name
- The role you’re being offered

Accepting or Rejecting Invitations
Section titled “Accepting or Rejecting Invitations”For each pending invitation, you can:
- Accept the invitation to join the organization with the assigned role
- Reject the invitation if you don’t want to join
Once you accept an invitation, you’ll immediately gain access to that organization according to your assigned role.
